Visit Rüdesheim, a famous wine town and home of the worldknown Drosselgasse with traditional restaurants and shops. During a guided tour you get an overview of the city. Later, take a cruise to St. Goarshausen. Enjoy the panorama of the Rhine Gorge with its impressive nature and admire the famous Lorelei rock. On your way make a short stop in Boppard, which is a famous winegrowing centre of the region.
Spend a day at the Moselle River. You can start with a panoramic cruise along the river, which is surrounded by vineyards. To discover the landside take the Cochem Castle shuttle bus (payable on the spot) to the romantic Cochem Castle. The last stop of the day will be a guided tour and a wine tasting at one of the vineyards. A stop at Königswinter is also recommended. Board the famous Drachenfelsbahn, which is Germany’s oldest cog railway. At the top of the Drachenfels you see the ruined medieval Drachenfels Castle and have a breath-taking view across the Rhine.
You shouldn’t miss Koblenz, where the Moselle flows into the Rhine. It is one of Germany’s oldest towns with more than 2,000 years of history. During a city tour you discover the most important sights.
