Journey along the historical Grossglocker High Alpine Road up Austria’s highest mountain (3.798 m) to its glacier, the Pasterze. Your journey will take you past a unique world of mountains, blossoming alpine meadows, fragrant forests and massive cliffs.

Along the route, you can find many highlights such as the “Edelweißspitze”, the highest point on the road or the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe Visitors’ centre. On arrival at the visitors centre, you have a spectacular view of the Grossglockner summit and the glacier below. Do not forget to keep your eyes open for the local wildlife – the marmots, and do not forget your camera!
