St. Moritz and the Bernina Express

Visit the exclusive summer and winter resort of St. Moritz and travel over mighty Alpine passes, this is a tour offering plenty of spectacular mountain scenery.

Suggested Programme

Day 1

Arrival and dinner at your hotel.

Day 2

Travel via the 2,383 meters high Flüela Pass to Pontresina and board the Bernina Express for a journey on one of the most beautiful and exciting train journeys in Switzerland.

Relax and enjoy some of Switzerland’s most impressive countryside with views (depending on weather) of Piz Bernina and the Morteratsch glacier.

We recommend traveling past Poschiavo to the Italian city to Tirano for some free time before making the return journey via the Maloja Pass.

Day 3

Visit the world famous resort of St. Moritz. The town stands worldwide for elegance, class and style. Discover more about the resort during a walking tour before having time to explore further on your own.

A trip worthwhile is a ride on the Muottas Muragl cable car, during which you will be amazed by the breath-taking view over the Oberengadin lakes and valleys as well as the Glacier.

In a mountain restaurant you can enjoy lunch or coffee and cake before continuing on to Pontresina and the Alpine dairy where you learn about how the local cheese is made and, of course, enjoy a tasting of some of the tasty dairy products.

Why not enhance your trip to Switzerland with a traditional Fondue or Raclette in the Alp Restaurant.

Day 4

1 x Train journey on the Bernina express Pontresina – Poschiavo (2nd class)
